 | | Downtown Lites Honey Ale |
| |

|
|
Before gas streetlamps, Milwaukee's nightlife consisted
of dank saloons and rough and ready backroom bars - Street lighting brought
into vogue a more refined social life - an evening stroll or a carriage
ride stopping at new landmarks like the Pabst Theater, Schlitz Palm Garden
or the Miller Beer Gardens. the shift from dark barrooms to airy beergardens
was mirrored by the new choice of beers as Milwauke began to thirst for
lighter, cleaner, more refined beers. Our Downtown Lites Honey Ale reflects
this classical Milwaukee heritage. It's a light, flavorful, crisp ale
brewed with pale malt and 60 pounds of Wisconsin honey per batch. When
you visit us walk along the Riverwalk or the Historic Third Ward streets
and remember the golden heritage of Milwaukee culture which inspired our
Downtown Lites Honey Ale.

Solomon Juneau Ale | |
| |
Solomon Juneau paddled up the Milwaukee River from Lake
Michigan and settled a trading post near the confluence of three beautiful
rivers flowing through bountiful praires and forests. In his canoe he
carried pelts, heavy wollen blankets, wooden paddles, seeds, matches,
guns and ammunitions and, well, beer. We tip our brewers cap to his memory
with his namesake ale inspired by great european pilsners. It's a golden
ale with a crisp dry finish thanks to genuine saaz hops from the Czech
Republic.

 | | Pull Chain Pail Ale |
| |

|
|
Not that long ago factory supervisors would pull the chain on the steam whistle, calling workers to their union mandated beer breaks. Bucket boys would hang pails of beer on long poles and hustle cold brew out to the workers before they returned to the line. Our Pull Chain Pail Ale is a tribute to the hard working men and women who built the foundation of this city as well as a salute and hearty thank you to those who follow in their footsteps. Pull Chain is a solid, hoppy American ale built with Cascade hops and balanced with choice British East Kent Goldings.

Louie's Demise | |
| |
True Story... 1886 in Sheboygan, just 60 miles North of
here... Great Great Uncle Louie was cracked over the head with a beer glass and killed. Now we know who did but no
one knows why? Was it over a woman? A horse? A business deal gone sour?
A debt? An insult? A crazy accident? Let your imagination run free, because
whatever really happened, Louie's death is one of many Wisconsin tavern
legends that give life and color to our heritage. We honor Uncle Louie
with Louie's Demise Ale. We brew it with noble German Perle and Tettnang
hops, yielding a rich and malty amber ale full of color, flavor, and complexity
- like Louie's legend. Drink one for Uncle Louie and remember: today's
barroom story might just be tomorrows legend.

Sheepshead Stout
|
| |

|
|
The German immigrants who founded Milwaukee's first big
breweries brought over more from their homeland than a love of great beer:
they brought a strong community spirit and a zest for competition and
comradery characterized by their favorite card game, Sheepshead. Master
brewers would gather after the workday in a brewery rathskellar for a
game of Sheepshead which would develop from a friendly after-work card
game into a late night of skill and nerve, full of tense moments, shouting,
laughter, and, of course, great beer. Sheepshead Stout is a smooth, delicious,
creamy stout brewed with nine different malts and poured into pints off
a nitrogen tap.
